Key features
- Existing houses were demolished and the new apartments were built in three blocks between three and four storeys high.
- Load bearing masonry.
- Precast concrete planks for floors and roofs.
- Due to poor ground conditions, one of the apartment blocks was piled with the other blocks being traditional foundations.
- Drainage uses a cellular attenuation storage tank with a restricted discharge into the existing surface water sewer.
